PSC BRIEFING ON ITS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ELECTORAL REFORM

KUALA LUMPUR (APRIL 24, 2012): Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Maximus Ongkili, chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Electoral Reform, led a briefing for diplomats and the foreign media on Tuesday night on the PSC report that was tabled in Parliament on April 3.
The briefing was held together with Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club members of the PSC – Y.B. Dato’ Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad (Kangar MP), Y.B. Tan Sri Dr Fong Chan Onn (Alor Gajah MP) and Y.B P. Kamalanathan (Hulu Selangor MP).
They also took questions from the floor. The briefing is part of ongoing efforts to inform people on the recommendations of the PSC to improve and enhance the integrity of the electoral process in the country.
