BES ASIA BRINGS THE UK’S LATEST RESOURCES AND IDEAS IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO ASIA VIA MALAYSIA, THE HUB FOR TRANSNATIONAL EDUCATION

The Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Fadillah Yusof, together with the British High Commissioner, HE Simon Mark Featherstone, officially opened the 6th BES Asia Forum and Exhibition on 1st October 2012 at 10am. 

The free to attend event takes place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 1st – 2nd October and over 1,000 people involved in the education and training sector are expected to come from across Asia.

“Towards this end, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation’s (MOSTI) vision in promoting the embracement of STI as strategic drivers and enablers for wealth creation, knowledge generation and societal well-being is positioned to fulfil the national aspirations of the country”, said the deputy minister when delivering the speech of the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Johnity Ongklili.   

This event is jointly organised by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), Alarming Events and UK Trade & Investment, with the support of the British Council, Malaysian and other regional public and private sector.
