Bukit Jalil, 22 September 2016 – MOSTI throught its agency Cybersecurity Malaysia has entered into a pioneering partnership with Standard Chartered Bank with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which aims to combat cyber threats and further strengthen the country’s overall cyber security posture.

The ceremony was witnessed by YB Datuk Seri Panglima Madius Tangau, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation at Wisma Scope International in Bukit Jalil today.

The MoU will see, as a key priority, Scope International and CyberSecurity Malaysia collaborate in the continued development of cyber security talent in Malaysia, through national level initiatives.

Further areas of collaboration will include threat intelligence and forensic technique knowledge sharing and educating the general public in themes centred around cyber-safety.
