The Lux Research – NanoMalaysia Forum 2015: Re-energizing Economic Growth Through Advanced Materials Innovations hosted by NanoMalaysia Berhad and Lux Research had become a landmark conference for innovation in advanced materials and nanotechnology in Malaysia with a clear outcome of fostering collaborations on mutual investment and commercial interests.

This forum featured industry expert speakers presenting latest global market trends in nanotechnology and advanced materials and related innovations by large corporations. In the Speed Pitch session, three Malaysian nanotechnology-based start-up companies were introduced for investment opportunities. Participants were made to understand the respective roles of industry, research domain, funding authorities and government agencies in breathing new life into Malaysia’s economy through relevant technology.

YBrs. Dr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of NanoMalaysia also stressed, NanoMalaysia through iNanovation and National Graphene Action Plan 2020 prioritise commercialization of endogenous nanotechnology innovations but crucially open for international collaborations in the form of technology transfer, joint-ventures and co-investments and this forum is the conducive arena for that.
